The SkyPod Lite is the pinnacle of lightweight, convenient travel. At just 34kg, the Lite is the perfect tent for people who prioritise getting away without hassle- a tent with a simple and agile set-up. But the weight of the Lite is not it’s only innovative feature, it can also be pitched up in under 5 minutes and put down equally as fast.
The Lite has multiple top-of-the-range accessories that are included with the tent to make your experience as enjoyable as possible. The telescopic ladder has been designed to be foot-friendly and is capable of supporting up to 150kg. It is also able to extend to 2.3m meaning you can leave it in a position where you can conveniently access your pod.
SkyPod designed the Lite with ventilation at the forefront of their priorities. Therefore the Lite has a large window on either side and one at the front of the pod, these are fitted with bug mesh on the outside to allow air in and out while not letting bugs inside. This creates ventilation points all around the pod, meaning condensation doesn’t build up on the inside.
The Lite has a 4cm thick EPE floor and on top of this is the 3cm density foam mattress. These combine to give you a luxurious, home-like feel when you sleep. This mattress can be left inside your tent even when you pack it down, making it readily available for use next time you set up. There is also plenty of height for you to sit upright and look at the view from the panoramic windows.
The Lite also has an integrated LED strip that can be removed if not needed. However these LEDs create the perfect ambient lighting for a movie night and pair well with the windows on 3 sides of the tent allowing you to gaze out at the sunset or scenery where you’re parked. Whatever evening activity you have in mind, the Lite is perfectly set up to meet all your needs.
The Lite has a streamlined and sleek silhouette that makes it the perfect companion for the top of smaller cars. It can be popped up and folded down with maximum efficiency. This is done all by the ladder, pull the ladder out and bring it down to the floor to erect the tent. Then to put the tent back down, push the end section of the tent back into itself and push the ladder back up to fold the tent in on itself. Tuck everything in and put the cover back over to secure everything.
