The SkyPod Lair has been designed to provide unmatched style and comfort. It is the most spacious of the SkyPod range, and has been designed to have a large enough interior to sleep two adults and a child. It is the perfect choice for families who want to get away for a weekend and pitch up wherever they want.

The Lair is fitted with a 7cm mattress, specifically designed to give a home-like feel. The foot friendly, telescopic ladder can support up to 150kg and makes accessing your pod easy. It also includes an integrated, detachable LED strip. These LEDs can be the perfect ambient lighting for your family movie night and pair well with the 360 degree windows and skylight that are ideal for stargazing. Whatever evening activity you have in mind, the Lair is perfectly set up to meet all your needs.

It also has two detachable shoe pockets which can be used as storage for any items you have. This allows you to store your muddy shoes without getting the inside of your sleeping cabin dirty. They attach to the side of your roof tent at the height of your vehicle’s roof. This means you can wake up in the morning and reach your shoes without needing to step onto the ground- a lifesaver in wet or muddy conditions!

The Lair’s hardtop shell can be equipped with two aluminium bars that can support up to 100kg of cargo on top. Enabling you to go on countless family adventures- canoeing down a river, biking around a lake- whatever your heart desires can all be done with the help of a SkyPod! Then, once your antics are done for the day, relax in the fact that you have a comfortable, elevated retreat on top of your vehicle that can be pitched up in under 60 seconds.

The Lair features a gas-strut mechanism which helps it be set up and taken down with maximum efficiency. These struts simplify the process so that all you have to do to pitch the pod is push the sides up one after another. The same concept is applied when putting down the Lair. Simply tuck everything inside and pull down on the sides, then clip the shell on to secure it in place. Even though it is the largest of the SkyPod range, and is the only model to feature a hardtop shell, this model doesn’t lose any points in the efficiency department!

Everything you need to get started using your SkyPod is included with the Lair. The storage pockets, mattress, ladder, mounting kit are all included. However you can also additionally purchase the annexe which is compatible with the Lair and Rapide models, this additional living space is easy to set up and can be pitched up in under 2 minutes. It has 3 doors for simple access, a removable back wall and floor and a full seam tape for water resistance. Therefore the living area can be functional in any weather meaning you can relax in the cool shade during the summer or bunker down in the wet winter!
