Why do you need a fridge fan? Well, the space behind your fridge – behind where you see 2 vents on your outside wall gets hot. Hot. The heat that has been sucked out of your fridge is deposited here via cooling coils and fins. When the weather is hot outside this space can get too hot to allow the fins and coils to cool fast enough, so your fridge will not run efficiently, and cooling will suffer or can stop altogether. Simply put those vents need a fan to help suck the hot air out of this space to help cool the coils and fins on the rear of your fridge freezer.

The Vento NG fridge fan is Brunner’s mid-range fridge fan. It consists of a powerful twin fan that you locate behind the upper fridge vent in your mobile home. Simple to fit the wiring harness just requires a fused 12volt supply. All other connections between the fan itself, thermostat and the control panel are plug and play. It comes complete with brackets for fitting the fan in place.
When using the Vento series there are 2 modes of operation, auto or manual. Auto mode means the fan works to its pre-set computer-controlled program. The fan runs all the time , automatically adjusting the fan speed relative to the temperature, the hotter the temperature the faster the fan will work. There are no adjustable settings in this mode. Manual means as you would think. It turns the fan on. You can then adjust the speed the fans work at using the dial on the control panel. Especially useful in Humid climes where you may want to force the fan to keep cooling working even when the temperature drops into the evening. You can turn the fan off via the control panel, useful to save battery power overnight when the fan is less likely needed.

The NG Brunner fridge fans are a good cost-effective universal solution to more expensive manufacturer specific fridge fan kits. The packaging has the basic installation instructions printed directly on it. but it really is a simple job to fit.
