It works by a light attracting the insects towards it, meaning it is most effective when used in low light conditions. This makes it perfect to run into the evening and overnight. The time I always seem to be most attractive to the little blighters!

Low power consumption means you can safely run this via a USB adapter on a 12-volt electrical system or via your USB phone charging plug (not supplied).

The firefly electronic mosquito killer has a special Ultraviolet LED producing the mosquito’s favourite light at a wavelength of 365 Nm. This irresistible force lures the insects towards it where a powerful fan airflow sucks the insects into the container. Here they are dried out in a smokeless, odourless and radiation-free process. They fall to a removable drawer compartment where the mosquitoes can then be disposed of.
