This step can be used singularly or as part of a set of steps in a myriad of locations on motorhomes, self-builds and boats. Popular uses include as a bathing step on the outside of boats or steps down into the engine bay. Commercial vehicles use them as access steps to cargo load areas. Horse boxes often utilise them to help access into the stables. Externally, motorhomes use them on the exterior to access high cabs or in place of roof ladders. Internally, they are a great space saving ladder to a bunk bed or elevated sleeping pod. Around the home they are fantastic for play areas (think climbing walls) or for treehouses. This versatile step fastens to a vertical surface through the 2 fixing holes of 8.5mm diameter. This makes the step suitable to bolting into position or being screwed. Sturdy and compact. Such is the strength of this step it has a certified safe loading of 250 kgs.

The step has a simple cantilever hinge that allows the footplate to fold flat horizontally and hold firmly in place. The footplate has a “criss-cross” pattern embedded into it. This creates a non-slip surface, so you can be reassured that your climb will be safe. Once folded up the step shows a polished stainless underside, hiding the foot grip plate. The design is such, so that once folded up the step sits neatly out of the way.
