Stainless Steel Quick Lock Water Filler Inlet

The unique features of this filler cap are the choice of neck styles and locking options.

This versatile inlet comes in both straight and angled neck options, as well as with or without a lock. The hose connection spigots at the back of the inlet are either straight or angled at 30 degrees which means that you can choose the version that best suits your individual van conversion. The locking version comes with a hexagon peg style key which is used to lock the cover plate down which prevents the cap from being opened.

This stainless steel water inlet combines the solid style that comes with a precision cast stainless component with the ease of use of a regular bayonet style filler cap. The cap opens with a simple quarter turn, so you can quickly open the inlet without having to unscrew the cap endlessly.

The contemporary flat design of this inlet means that it sits fairly flush once closed. With a slimline 11mm projection this means that the inlet doesn’t the interfere with the bodyline of your van. When closed, there are no visible fixings as the cap covers the mounting screws.

These caps, developed primarily for the marine industry, are made from 316 marine grade stainless steel so rust will not be a problem. The bright polished cap has a really high end look and feel. What’s good enough for a super yacht is surely good enough for a van conversion!

To use this cap you flip up the cover plate and then using the raised flap as a handle twist the cap 90 degrees. When the plug is open it stays attached to the main part of the inlet, via a safety chain. So, for those of you who have a tendency to misplace caps or rest the cap on the roof of your vehicle while filling up and then inadvertently drive off – the cap is safe!

To connect this filler unit to your fresh water tank all that is required is a length of 38mm internal diameter water hose and a couple of hose clamps to clip it all together. We sell all of these things!
