Stainless Steel Locking Water Filler Inlet

This easy to fit stainless water inlet is a stylish alternative to the run of the mill plastic caps that generic motorhomes have.

If you are looking for something a bit more heavy duty, durable and distinctive then this could be the filler cap for you.

The precision cast stainless cap consists of a solid inner flange and a highly polished, smart locking cap.

These caps, developed primarily for the marine industry, are made from 316 marine grade stainless steel so rust will not be a problem. What’s good enough for a super yacht is surely good enough for a van conversion!

To use this cap you flip up the cover plate, unlock the barrel lock with the key and then using the raised flap as a lever unscrew the cap. When the plug is unscrewed it stays attached to the main part of the inlet, via a safety chain. So, for those of you who have a tendency to misplace caps or rest the cap on the roof of your vehicle while filling up and then inadvertently drive off – the cap is safe!

A locking water inlet is just as important as a locking fuel cap. You don’t want to run the risk of anything getting into your tank and polluting your precious water supply.

To connect this filler unit to your fresh water tank all that is required is a length of 38mm internal diameter water hose and a couple of hose clamps to clip it all together. We sell all of these things!
