Vango’s first rear attachment awning, the Tailgate Hub is ideal for couples or independent travellers with a spirit of adventure. The perfect quick pitch tent for short stops, taking only 8 minutes to erect the Tailgate Hub has been designed with active adventurers in mind.

The tailgate tent only requires pegging straps at the front of the vehicle and tunnel area, allowing the awning to fit neatly to your vehicle without the need for kador rails. However, should you wish to use them, the traditional attachment options of roof bar attachment tabs, kador and a sleeve for pole and clamps are also included. This means you can also use the Tailgate hub as a traditional drive-away awning connect to the side of your vehicle!
The Tailgate Hub does not require the tailgate to be opened to support the structure, so you can simply roll away the connecting tunnel should you want to drive off and explore for the day. Be ready for any adventure with the Tailgate Hub
Two doors in the connecting tunnel make for a convenient storage area, while Vango’s reliable and lightweight Sentinel Active Fabric, ensures a compact pack size, easily stored away when not in use.

Removable groundsheet

We stock the Vango Tailgate tent in the traditional pole framed version and also the innovative Vango Air-beam set up. Both are fantastic quality and benefit from Vango ‘s strong and lightweight Sentinel Active fully waterproof fabric. It is a neutral colour that should match your vehicle livery and comes complete with all pegging accessories. The only thing you may wish to add is a KADOR Bar to match your vehicles slot. Either 6 or 8mm. Available at our store here at CamperHappy. If versatility if top of your list with a Camper Van awning, then this could just be the tent for you.
