USB Flameless Lighter

They are flameless and a safe alternative to gas lighters – and they never need re-filling.

Perfect to use on gas hobs and ovens fitted without a Piezo ignition, charcoal or gas BBQ’s or just for the fireplace at home. You will never get stuck because you have run out of matches again! They are great for use outdoors because they are windproof and because they have a long flexible neck they are great for lighting candles within a glass.

We use ours for the oven in our motorhome – it’s great because matches always used to go out before the pilot light had lit, burning my fingers- this solves that problem perfectly. And I also hate the banging noise of a manual ignition. They are the perfect accompaniment to our range of CAN and Thetford cooking appliances.

Simple to use, there is a sliding switch to turn the unit on and prevent accidental ignition. Slide this forward and the LED light will flash blue showing you the current charge state. You then simply hold down the round button and the ARC will ignite for as long as you hold the button down. The ARC emits a clear purple colour, so you know it is working. And that is it. To store simply slide the slide lock back to prevent accidental triggering of the ARC.

To charge your electric BBQ lighter via USB you just connect the supplied micro-USB cable to the unit and a suitable outlet. (Basically, it’s like a phone charger)

The charging process will take between 1 and 2 hours for a complete charge and the lights will indicate how charged the batteries are. When all LEDs are lit, charging is complete. Disconnect the unit at this point to preserve battery life. A single charge will provide up to 500 ignitions!
