USB Dashboard Double Socket

Everything is charged by USB sockets these days, so the addition of extra charging sockets are essential!

This compact double USB socket is made of plastic and comes with an easy open, flexible waterproof cap. It is perfect for fitting within dashboard clusters or within the habitation area too. Because it happily will run off 12 or 24 volt battery systems, it is also suitable for larger truck conversions too.

The socket has 2 outlets. One is a standard 1 Amp outlet and the other is a larger 2.4 Amp outlet. This is what you need to run many higher power devices such as GPS Sat Nav’s and iPads. 2.4 Amps is also required to fast charge modern smartphones.

It is easy to install: holesaw a circular mounting hole, then pass through and tighten secure with a back-nut. To stop the back-nut coming loose, 2 locking screws are supplied and lock everything in place. There are a pair of tin-plated spade connectors to the rear of the unit that you connect your fused D.C. power supply to.

Cheap but essential upgrade that means you can run your tech where you want too without long messy wires everywhere!
