FAWO Locking Water Fill Point

These are the ideal replacement or upgrade for your vehicle’s water system.

The most compact external water filler we offer in plastic.

Made by FAWO they are the simplest to fit, just requiring a hole saw cut of 90mm to pass though your sidewall before sealing and screwing into place. We suggest Sikaflex as a suitable sealant.

We supply these fillers with matching locking cap with 2 keys. They are coloured to match the filling neck. The black filling necks are subtly marked ‘WATER’, whilst the white ones say ‘WASSER’ (German for water). The lock is a positive quarter turn locking cap, which works like the fuel cap on your vehicle.

The fillers are made primarily to suit vertical mounting but will work horizontally too. The rear tail connections have a slight angle on them to help with your flexible pipework. You will need a 38mm (1.5″) I.D. pipe for this. There is also a hose-tail for a breather pipe, this takes 10mm I.D. hose. All tanks must have a breather, this stops your tank imploding when your pump draws water from it and allows the tank to fill easily and not bubble up. The cap still allows air to enter the tank when it is locked in place.

The overall diameter of the water inlet is 130mm and you need space behind to fit the pipework that allows for the hose tail to project inwards by 75mm from the outside skin.
