Europump 12 Volt 4-Diaphragm Quiet-Freshwater Pump

The Europump 12 pumps Manufactured by Osculati are an ideal replacement or new build part. A fully sealed marine quality water pump that comes complete with an impressively sized water strainer. Hose tail fittings are included as are 1/2″ male BSP terminations, which are standard threading’s for tap fittings. All of the adapters are push fit with o-rings should you need to remove them easily in the future.

This pump is a pressure pump. This means it automatically senses the pressure drop when you open a tap and starts to run. When you close your tap, the pump will automatically stop running holding a pressure in your pipework. So, your water system in effect works similar to your household system. This is great because it means you can use normal taps, not being restricted to ones with a microswitch. It is also easier to plumb in an entire water system having less wiring compared to a micro-switched system. Less to go wrong on the road!

The 4-diaphragm system prevents the On / OFF pulsations that can occur when a tap is partially open. Larger systems with mixer taps can also be affected by this phenomenal, so if your current pump pulsates when only the hot or cold tap is used but is fine when both are opened this pump could well help solve your problem.

The Europump can run dry without damage, has little to no vibrations and runs very quiet. It is fitted with and internal bypass for inlet pressure control. The permanent magnet motor has a self-lubricating shaft.

The pump operates at a working pressure of 35 psi (2.4 bar) and will supply 12.5 litres of water a minute. Electrical draw is measured at 4 amps. We also offer a larger version that runs to 17 litres per minute, please contact us as these are special order only, albeit with a short lead-time. 24 volt pumps can also be supplied in both sizes.

The 12 lpm pump is compact, it measures just 213 x 105 x 95mm and it can be installed on vertical or horizontal surfaces. The mounting legs are made from rubber to minimise the noise of the pump. The lugs have small pre-drilled holes where you affix the pump into position through.

Spare parts are available for the pumps, both filters and pressure switches if you like to stock a spare.

These pumps are a quality item and a great alternative to Whale / Shurflo. Often reported to be quieter and higher spec’d than their branded equivalents. You will pay a lot more for variable speed / multi diaphragm pumps from others.
