All CAN hobs are installed with a thermocouple safety device as standard, which automatically shuts the gas supply to the gas hob if the flame goes out.
We stock the CAN PC range in manual ignition only. This means installation is easier with no 12Volt electrical connections required. We also find a piezo ignition very noisy and can often prove unreliable after a period. We find carrying a gas hob lighter to be the best solution, our product FIR556 works perfectly and is rechargeable via USB.

Primarily aimed for the marine market but we think an excellent addition to your home on wheels the potholder is slotted into a socket in the stove top. It consists of a sprung cradle that wraps around your cooking pot preventing the pot from slipping, falling or being knocked off the hob.
