The Brunner Capture is an ideal product for those who want to occasionally use a driveway awning or sunshade with their camper van but don’t want a gutter rail or permanent rail fitted. Some people do not wish for the look of an awning rail or are not happy to fit one themselves.
The ATACO Suction Caps are supplied as a pair. They consist of a large universal suction clamps with an eyelet and S shaped hook. The suckers measure 11.5 cm in diameter to increase the surface area and therefore the clamping force. They have a 12kg charge force, as long as they are installed on a flat enough surface.
The pads work similar to how a Phone or Sat nav cradle attaches to your windscreen – just on a larger scale. You put the suction cap in place, ensuring the surfaces are both clean and free from dust then you operate the grey lever which creates a suction on the surface and the cap sticks in place.
