Brunner Accelerate Folding Roll Up Camping Table

We were led to the Brunner Accelerate table on our search for a compact folding table that you can sit at and eat without it feeling like you are balancing your plate on top of a pot of jelly!

The Brunner Accelerate is available in 2 sizes, the 4-person table which is 120 x 80cm or the 6-person table at 146cm x 80cm. Both tables sit at a comfortable height of 70cm. It has been tested to hold up to 30 Kgs!!

What makes this table so sturdy is the central cross bar that positively locks into place. This prevents any movement or twist in the hinged legs. After setting the table up there is adjustment in one of the legs, you put this leg on the low point of ground and simply screw the leg down to the floor to stop the table rocking. Simple yet effective. The Accelerate uses aluminium slats to form the top. Popular with many tables the slats are unrolled onto the table frame and locked into place using simple stud fixings. Construction wise, the table is made from lightweight aluminium in a natural silver finish except for the frame edges which are anodised in black to match the table fixings. Leg hinges are steel and plastic, as are the feet and tube end caps.

It is a very stylish looking table. The tabletop has a built-in spirit level for the perfectionists out there. A neat mesh ‘shelf’ can be fitted beneath the table. This is perfect for use as a magazine rack etc when you need to quickly clear the table for mealtimes or guests.

The table comes complete with a storage bag for when it’s not in use. The Brunner Accelerate folded and packed away measures just 150cm x 20 x 20cm. Easy stow whilst travelling, ours lives in the underbelly locker.

Overall, it may not be the cheapest table on the market, but we think it’s one of the best, and well worth the money with free delivery and same day dispatch if ordered before 3pm.
