This submersible pump is made by the German manufacturer Barwig. It’s our most economical pump, yet is more powerful than more expensive options. The Barwig submersible pump is a standard fitment on many campervan conversions. The narrow pump housing means it fits through the smallest of Jerry can necks. This pump has a high output of 10 litres per minute and can produce up to 0.6 bar of pressure on the pumps output. Very impressive at such a price point.

Submersible pumps are ideal for pumping shower water as well as in the kitchen. You can couple these pumps to a micro switched tap (We sell these too) or just via a manual on/off switch. We would advise putting a 12V switch in line of the pump so you can isolate the power supply to it. It is also worth keeping a spare unit in your van.

These pumps are not rated to a 100 percent duty and should ideally not be run dry for extended times. Having said that look after them and they will last for a long time.
