3 Metre Universal Kador Rail Drive Away Awning KIt - VANGO

The Vango Drive Away Awning Kit is a simple kit essential to disconnect your campervan from your awning whilst leaving the tent erected.

By simply sliding out the kador beading strip, which is attached via the figure of 8 channel you can drive you vehicle away from your tent for day trips without having to take it down.

Vango Drive Away Kits are compatible with all Drive away awnings with a 6mm bead as a connection. (Which is most of them!)  The figure of 8 and kador strip can easily be cut to the desired length to suit your awning/vehicle when the full 3 metres is not required.

This Vango Drive Away Awning Kit can also be used on campervans fitted with a multi-rail, wind-out awning or other temporary awning connection system. Thule and Fiamma awnings utilise a smaller channel which requires a 4 – 6 mm rail. We can get these in as a special order if your require.

You get a Beaded fabric strip which is designed to fit  directly to your vehicles rail.

The other end fits the supplied plastic figure of 8 strips.

The Second side of the Figure of 8 strip slides straight over the bead on your awning tent.

The figure of 8 strips comes split in 4 sections, each 75cm long so after use you can pack the connector into its small compact supplied storage bag.

How To Use?

• 1. Slide the 3 Figure of 8 sections onto the awning’s kador beading strip.
• 2. Slide one edge of the kador beading strip piping into the Figure of 8 Channel.
• 3. Slide the remaining edge into the C-Channel rail fitted to your campervan at the same time.
