12 Volt LED Dimmer Roof Light With Minimal Recess ( Bos / Polis )

These mini recessed lights are both elegant and contemporary, and because they can be bought switched or non-switched, they are perfect for underneath cabinets yet also for ceiling daylights.

They offer a great specification, including the option of being dimmable via the light’s inbuilt touch switch or an external special dimmer switch (Our part no. PUTL1-DS). The dimming switch operates the same whether using the touch light control or optional dimming switch. Touch the light / switch once to wake the light, a second touch turns it on, a solid press or touch with your finger adjusts the light output up or down. You simply remove your finger at the point you are happy with the light emitted. The clever LED light remembers the last setting used and will turn on using the last stored setting.

A normal On / Off switch will work just fine however you won’t have the dimming functionality.

Dimmable switches are a rare option on caravan / motorhome lighting, but massively improve internal mood settings, and we here at CamperHappy are pleased to bring these product options to you that others bypass.

The reduced recess means you can fit the light face flush onto a surface with a recess of just 15mm. Because the LED unit is round it’s simple to fit.  Similar to normal units, where you cut a hole into your panel with a hole saw and sink the light into it. These lights are screwed into place with the screws (not supplied) hidden behind the polished stainless-steel bezel.

The bright 160 Lumen are emitted from a single LED. This makes it look more like a traditional single bulb light output, as opposed to seeing lots of white dots. A warm white colouring of 3000 Kelvin is the standard for LED lighting, not to white and not to yellow, and this is what is used here.

They operate a beam of 80 degrees which allows you to direct the light where you need it!
