The Thetford Basic line is commonly fitted in caravans and motorhomes by OEM Manufacturers. It is equally as popular with self builders due to the quality and price point.
This Thetford bowl has a tempered glass lid and strong hinges. (easily removable for a replacement if the worst happens!)
Because the glass lid is heat resistant it can add important additional dishing up space when it is in the lowered position. Clever design, means the tap is stowed within the sink compartment, keeping your worktop flush! Also any accidental tap leakage will drain straight into the sink, not onto your worktop.
The unit does have a pre-drilled tap hole in the rear right hand corner, 35mm diameter. Regarding fitting a tap we suggest either the comet

To fix the bowl in position integral clamps are built in to the underside of the bowl. A rubber seal is also supplied so fitting is easy. Simply cut a hole in the worktop using the supplied template, drop the sink into position along with the seal and then tighten the clamps. The top part of the clamp is hidden below the rubber bungs that stop the lid rattling down the road!
This stainless steel compact rectangular bowl is supplied complete with horizontal outlet waste fitting to suit 25mm (1″) bore hose, and a plug with finger pull ring. If you need a 20mm waste fitting let us know as we do stock this alternative.
