Jubilee Clips were manufactured as the first worm drive hose clamp in 1921. Jubilee held the first ever patent for worm drive hose clips and have been manufacturing hose clips in Great Britain ever since. Jubilee Clip is a registered trademark and recognised the world over. Jubilee Clips are manufactured to the very higest standards using only premium grade materials. Jubilee Clips are Kitemarked to BS 5315:1991, the company is registered to BS EN ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System. The Original stainless steel range of Jubilee Clips are Lloyds Type Approved which is essential when used for marine applications.
Jubilee Clips conduct Neutral Salt Spray tests (NSS) on their clips according to BS EN ISO 9227:2006. This test demonstrates the length of time that the product is able to withstand salt spray without significant signs of corrosion. 240 hours is generally taken by the British Construction Industry as the equivalent of a lifetime of 60 years in an urban outside environment. All 316 grade stainless steel Jubilee Clips are rated at 2000 hours in the NSS test so far outweigh mild steel zinc (240 hours) or 304 stainless steel clips (1000 hours).
