Here is a great product for you – Thermal Insulation for all of your windows not just the front Cab. They are made from the same material as our other internal screens which means the colour and seams etc will all match if you choose to purchase the pop top insulation too.
Brunner designed these screens with original factory conversions from Volkswagen in mind. Other converters designs can only differ on the number of side windows/ shapes but more than often they still fit.
A set comprises of the following 8 or 9 pieces, shaped to fit the VW T5 / T6 vehicle.
1 X Windscreen Blind.
1 X driver, 1 X Passenger Windows.
1 X Rear Tailgate Blind, approx. 1400 x 500 mm or 2 Barn door Blinds
2 X Sliding door windows Blinds. 1000 x 500 mm
2 X Rear Window Blinds. 800 x 500 mm
The Sizes above are approximate, the actual shape of the blinds being manufactured to exactly suit your vehicle, although dimension wise the differences are only a few centimetres maximum. You can check our specification PDF for more accurate sizes.
Constructed with 4 layers of insulation, they all attach to the glass using sucker pads pushed through reinforced eyelets, so they are quick to put up and take down. Because they are thick they work well as blackout blinds – the only light let in is through the small holes where the opaque suckers are pushed through.
These are a great way to extend your camping season, into the autumn and beyond. For those of you itching to get going early spring, the additional insulation will help keep you warm overnight. They will also go a long way to alleviating condensation within your campervan.
The outside edges are finished in a black and silver edging and the sucker eyelets are reinforced for durability. The screens are held in place by plastic window suckers and can be put up and taken down in a few minutes. Note – for front window screens you need to fold down the sun visors to help keep the top of the screens neatly in place and reduce light coming in around the edges.
Our silver screens have a super reflective outside layer which reflects the sun’s rays in the summer keeping your van cool. The internal layer is a non-reflective matte grey softer material with stitch detailing that works with any interior décor. Sandwiched between these are multiple layers of insulation.
To store all the thermal insulation, we supply a handy storage bag. The insulation is easy to roll up or fold depending upon your available space..
