Shurflo Trail King 7 Pump + Water Strainer for Leisure Vehicles

SHURflo manufactures water pumps across the world. They are the leading manufacturer for both quality and value. This is our smaller pump. For our high flow version, we stock the SHURflo Trail King 10 which operates at a higher pressure. We always advise you to change like for like, and not increase pump size as this can lead to leaks in your system.

These pumps work on simple pressure switches. When the pump is switched on, it brings the pressure of the water system up to pressure. When you switch on a tap, the pressure drops in the water system and the pump activates up until the point you turn off the tap and the pressure rises. All this means your onboard water system will work like the one at home, you can utilise residential taps and say goodbye to complex micro switch taps.

It will supply up to 7 LPM with a pump shut off pressure of 1.4 bar. It is rated to draw at maximum 3.3 amps. Their specification shows it should draw more like half that in normal use.

The pump is fitted with a built-in check valve, has the capability to run dry and is self-priming. There is a thermal overload on the motor to prevent overheating. It’s a professional product.

The fittings on the pumps are standard plumbing threads. 1/2 ” BSP. We supply this pump complete with the water strainer filter which is essential to protect the inner pump workings. We suggest using flexible hose run in a small loop either side of the pump to reduce vibrations and noise being passed along to the hard plumbed system. This does make a real difference.
