Compact Waterproof Battery Box

A battery box is an essential part of your campervan build. It keeps the battery secure from sudden movement. Essential for electrical safety, it protects the battery terminals from accidental shortage from tools etc placed across the terminals and protects your battery storage compartment from the dangers of a leaking battery. The lid to this box is given a neoprene gasket and when strapped down correctly with the supplied rubber ties forms a water / airtight seal. Two holes on the sides are provided for routing cables, again seals are provided for these too. There are 2 further holes lower down, designed to fit piped ventilation to direct potential gassing out of the habitation area.

The blue watertight battery box will fit batteries up to 360 x 185 x 220mm high ( generally up to 110 amps).

These boxes are made to ISO 10133 marine standards. Please ensure your system meets any installation standards applicable.
