All CAN hobs are installed with a thermocouple safety device as standard, which automatically shuts the gas supply to the gas hob if the flame goes out.

All the CAN stove tops can benefit from the addition of an optional pan holder. Primarily aimed for the marine market the potholder is slotted into a socket in the stove top. It consists of a sprung cradle that wraps around your cooking pot preventing the pot from slipping, falling or being knocked off the hob. Unique to CAN we think this is an excellent safety device when cooking in a campervan especially with kids in the vehicle to prevent accidental spills and the stains that ensue.
